    Apply online

Tell us about your household and your fees. Review everything before you submit.

  3. 3

    Get shortlisted

The committee checks every application. Shortlisted students get a personal code by email to upload documents.

    Fees paid directly

If you're selected, the award goes to the official channel or your Remita / portal account.

Frequently asked questions

Can't find your answer? Email skujyservices@gmail.com.

Will the money be paid to me?

No. If you're selected, payment is remitted to the designated official channel or your Remita / portal account, so it goes straight to clearing your fees.

I'm on NELFUND. Can I still apply?

Only if it doesn't fully cover your fees for this session. If NELFUND or another bursary already covers everything, you're not eligible. If you've applied and are still waiting, were only partly awarded, or haven't been able to apply yet, you can apply.

I don't have a matric number or student email yet.

That's fine. This scholarship is for new 100 level students, so we use your JAMB registration number and any email address you check regularly.

I'm under 18. Can I apply?

Yes, with your parent's or guardian's permission. The form asks for their name and phone number, and for you to confirm they agree. We may call them to check.

I'm a returning student or came in through direct entry.

This scholarship is only for students newly admitted into 100 level through UTME. Other scholarships will appear on this page when they open.

What happens after I apply?

You'll get a reference number straight away. Keep it. If you're shortlisted, we'll email you a personal link and access code to upload your supporting documents, including your UNILAG admission letter. Only shortlisted applicants can reach the upload page.

Can I apply more than once?

No, there's one application per JAMB registration number. Check your answers on the review step before you submit.
